What Are the Safety Precautions for Remote Controlled Lawn Mowers?
In modern garden maintenance, remote controlled lawn mowers are powerful assistants for enhancing operational efficiency. Standardized operation and systematic maintenance are the foundation for ensuring the safe operation of the equipment and extending its service life. To help you use our company's rc lawn mower more safely and efficiently, we have compiled the following precautions.
Charging and battery safety
1. The remote controlled lawn mower must be charged with the original charger. Do not use other chargers and batteries, otherwise the battery may be damaged. If you need to replace it, please consult us for purchase information. We are not responsible for battery accidents and failures caused by the use of non-official battery chargers.
2. After the whole machine is running, when the power is less than22V, it needs to be charged to prevent insufficient power from affecting the use effect during the next use.
3. It is strictly forbidden to allow the battery to come into contact with any liquid. Do not immerse the battery in liquid or wet it. Do not use the robot and remote control in rain or humid environments.
4. When the remote control battery is low, you need to open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert 4 size 5 batteries into it. Do not use other methods to charge or power the remote control.
Charging environment and operation
1. Before charging, make sure that the mains power connected to the charger meets the charging conditions, otherwise the charger will be burned or the charger will not work.
2. The optimal charging environment temperature for the robotic remote control lawn mower is 25℃. Charging in extremely low ambient temperatures may slow down the charging speed, and in severe cases, it may cause abnormal battery heating, fire, or even explosion.
3. When charging, please ensure that there are no flammable or combustible materials stored around. Please pay attention to the charging process to prevent accidents.
4. Before charging, please ensure that the robot's power is turned off, otherwise possible operations may cause the robot to move, causing equipment damage. Charging while the power is on may damage the airborne equipment.
5. Please disconnect the charger from the robot after charging is complete.
Storage and cleaning maintenance
1. Do not store the crawler lawn mower in humid, dusty, or overheated places. Do not place fluids on top of the machine. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the whole machine, wipe it at any time, and regularly clean oil stains, rust, and other sticky substances. Wipe and lubricate the mechanical structures that are often worn.
2. Clean the control box regularly. Open the panel and use compressed air to clean the floating dust. Do not wash it with water. Keep it clean at least once a week.
Usage environment and handling
Do not use this vehicle in strong electrostatic, magnetic field, or wading environments. When manually moving this vehicle, please use a forklift to move it, as shown in the figure below:
Schematic diagram of moving the remote controlled lawn mower (the above pictures are for reference only, the actual product shall prevail)
Please adjust the distance between the forks to a suitable width, move the robot'strack part to the forklift fork frame, raise the forks, and move the forklift. Do not pull or drag, otherwise it will cause damage to the body structure and appearance.
Engine maintenance
1. The engine muffler is at a high temperature. Please clean up weeds in time during operation to prevent high-temperature fires.
2. For the first use of the engine, change the oil after 10 hours, and then change the oil every 50 hours.
3. Do not press the engine start button for more than 4 seconds each time. Starting for more than 8 seconds will burn out the ignition relay, and in severe cases, damage the battery.
Regular inspection and maintenance
1. Clean the air filter every 4-10 hours, and replace the air filter after cleaning it more than 6 times.
2. Periodically check whether the fixing bolts of the cutter disc are loose or have missing teeth. Please check and tighten them. Missing teeth will cause excessive vibration due to dynamic imbalance.
3. Regularly check the track tension of the remote lawn mower. The distance between the highest arc point and the lowest concave point when pulling up and down between the drive wheel and the front idler wheel should be 30mm-50m, which is the standard tension.
4. Periodically check whether the bolts of the cutter lifting mechanism are loose, maintain a certain fitting clearance, and ensure smooth lifting of the cutter.
5. Maintain the drive motor reducer twice a year. During maintenance, remove the drive wheel, disassemble the reducer housing inside the drive wheel, clean it with diesel, and reapply carp-based grease.
6. Periodically check the generator belt. The belt tension should be 10mm. If the machine has low power generation voltage or the belt slips, please adjust the tension or replace the belt in time.
7. Periodically check all parts of the bolts and nuts for looseness, and adjust to the appropriate degree in time.
8. Periodically check whether the track of the crawler lawn mower is severely worn. If severe wear is found, please replace the track immediately to ensure normal driving of the whole machine.
9. When used continuously for one year, a comprehensive inspection should be carried out to check whether the rotating shaft joints of the whole machine are worn.
Operating Specifications
1. After the operation is completed, check the remaining power through the voltage indicator. When the remaining power is less than 90% with the engine off, an external charger needs to be charged. The charger indicator light shows green when fully charged.
2. Before turning on the power, check that the other switches are in the off position. After stopping the operation, the main power switch should be turned off in time.
3. Before starting the robotic remote control lawn mower, it should be driven to a flat road surface, check whether the gasoline is sufficient, and run it without load for 2 minutes after starting the engine to ensure that the engine is working normally. When operating the mowing work, keep a safe distance of more than 5 meters between people and the machine.
4. Please avoid rain and water for the remote control and other electrical control parts.
